This remote did exactly what it says it will do. It learned my Insignia TV and Dish Network DVR and did it in 3 mins. I had to make it learn my Insignia receiver but once I figured it out I then was able to customize the buttons and put the functions where I wanted them on the remote. The remote is shiny and the buttons looks slick which scared me a little but they actually stick to your finger so your finger doesnt slide off which is nice. It matches all my equipment which is a plus. When I first used the keys for my DVR it seemed to be sluggish to respond but after a few times it seemed to pick it up faster. Make sure you try the learning function is a low lit room or the bright lights will not allow it to work. I actually picked this up at Kmart for $14.99 yesterday.

I got one remote at store near me.

    I wanted to try it.

One of the best remotes I have had.

I have many many remotes. A box full. Paid big money for some.

It worked on all brands I tried and even the new video converter boxes.

I went back and got 2 more. It was on sale for $12.

    Plus easy to program.

The remote according to the description on the ad has to programme the tvs as specified by the seller. It does not do that.Poor packing, broken package , user directions missing.
