You will have to get a PC with a HDMI OUT port on it. You will then have to connect the cord to the HDMI IN port on the Television. Only some computers have HDMI out port on them, so if you don’t get a VGA cable and connect it to your Television. The port of a VGA had a sign that looks like I D I that sorta. ‘
The HDMI port is a lot smaller then the VGA port.
All depends on the computer you have.
good luck!

For true HD, you need a graphic card capable of outputting HDMI
For example, the newer GeForce 9 which is listed as HDMI ready. Make sure you check the graphic card info before spending money
You will want to see something like this written:
“HDMI Ready”
My GeForce 9800GTX+ comes with such capabilities, FIY, it has a HDMI output adapter which output 3 different cable, Red Blue and Green
This is not to be confused with the traditional digital output cables which have Yellow cables for video signal.
RGB cable is for HDMI, no yellow
This is where your HDMI cable is plug, from the graphic card output to your HD TV. If you have a HD TV, I’m sure you should have the HDMI cables. The ones you connect to your HD capable DVD player or gaming consoles, if you have one
If not, I think your TV should be able to take in normal s video output from your graphic card, which is something quite common for several years already. Just use the S video out to your TV, Those black round port at your graphic card.
But it won’t be displayed uder HD or HDMI channel, or whatever your TV call them. Its not true HD, and quality is not as good as HD
