Video Game Burn In On Plasma Tv’s?
I don’t understand, burn in on plasma tv’s are caused by static images right? In what way do modern video games have static images, its not like im playing bloody pac man…:s. E.g. GTA IV how has that got ANY static images on it? Everythings constantly moving, and if you think about it their are probably less than 1/100 games that have a lot of static images in it. The most you will get from the majority of modern video games is like the health counter or something, which is no worse than the television programs logo etc.
So I ask again; how can video games possibly cause burn in on plasma tv’s?

Very simple. If you are playing a game and pause it to eat dinner/bathroom and leave the TV on for hours/overnight you can get burn in. While GTA does not have a lot of static images, there are some aspects of the game that do remain static and can cause burn in on TVs (but no worse than a TV logo bug).
For most modern plasmas, burn-in is not a problem, but in sets that are 4+ years old it can be a problem
