I Want To Buy A 42″ Television (or A Size Close To It Say 40-45 Inches) I Am A Gamer, Mostly Xbox 360 And I?
Dec/093
plan on getting a PS3 soon, so I will use blu ray. Thus, I think I should go for 1080p, however as far as the refresh rate I don’t know which would be the best 60hz, 120hz or 600hz. From what I understand 600hz is not really that necessary. Also, I have read that LCD would be the smart choice since it does not burn images as much as plasma. But many plasmas now-a-days are burn resistant. Does anyone have any tips or any television recommendations?
Is It Ok If This Is Close To The Lcd Tv?
Nov/092
Will the LCD TV be affected when the humidifier in the room is turned out in full blast, its not too close to the tv, but they are close?
How Close Are We To Practical Nanotechnology?
Oct/095
By nanotechnology, I’m referring to the microscopic robots of sci-fi origin.
I was just daydreaming about how one day in my lifetime, going to the store might mean buying an “assembly” nano-bot that will assemble an entire set of dishes from the molecular level.
You walk into the store, and perhaps you want to buy a beautiful kitchen table. All the raw material needed is in something the size of a cereal box, and the nanobot inside is just waiting to build it.
When activated the nano-bot, will begin its work by self-replicating a few million of itself, then start converting raw material into whatever it was designed to make. Before too long, your beautiful new Armour, plasma-screen television, or Volkswagen will appear being constructed in thin air.
Perhaps every home would have an assembly room or something the size of a microwave that could literally make anything in a couple hours. All you’d have to do is pay the appropriate website for the “blueprints,” then download.
Can I Put Speakers Not Magnetically Shieded Close To A Lcd Tv?
Aug/095
I just purchased a LCD TV, and I have a pair of good speakers but not magnetically shielded. If I put them close to the TV, would they harm the LCD TV as in the case of CRT TV? In other words, would LCD TV be magnetised?
