I have a an insignia tv with s-video input and a vga input. I have a laptop with a an s-video output (i think). If I connect with an s-video cable, will the sound connect as well? Is the s-video my best option for video quality or is there something else I should be looking for?

I looked at the user manual for help with setting up my LCD TV for use with my computer, thinking it would be nice to have a larger picture, only problem is now it is blurred, I have a very hard time reading text and even videos are poor quality.
