Is It Normal To Have A New Lcd Tv Smell Like Plastic Chemicals?

I just bought my samsung lcd tv and put it in my room 32″ size, and for 2 days it seems to have this like chemical plasticky smell emitting from it and my eyes burn. Is this just the newness of the tv? anybody know what i mean or am I just being effected by the rays.

Today, I was thinking of how conservatives embrace tax cuts. I was even envisioning it:
Wealthy men in tuxedos and women in beautiful ballroom dresses, funded privately by money cut from Social Security. Everyone talks and exchanges tips on how to bust unions. Then, everyone gathers around the plasma television that was made in China due to cheaper labor. Suddenly, on the television a man with a monkey face appears–George W. Bush. It is now announced that public roads have been privatized and everyone cheers.
Sounds just wonderful, doesn’t it?

Does anyone have any ideas on 3 televisions. 1 LCD, 1Projection, and 1plasma.(all three have to be same brand, they also have to be either Panasonic or Samsung and they should be similar prices (prices can be off by a little but no more than by 500-600 dollars) The three televisions should be approximately same size.
I have to do a project comparing an LCD, Projection, and Plasma.
I Have A Phillips Lcd Tv And A Sky Digibox Problem?

The Sky Signal comes in and connects straight into the digibox. There is a scart connection from digibox into LCD TV. Also scart from digibox into Home Cinema DVD. I turn everything off at the plug at night. Every day when I turn the plug on, the Sky takes a few mins to warm up and when it comes on, the TV does not show the picture. I can hear the sound so I knowthe digibox is receiving OK. If I reboot a few times eventually the TV will show picture. It may be a TV problem? Any ideas of how to connect everything better?

PC is having S-Video,DVI and RGB output, LCD is having S-Video,HDMI and RGB input ports.
Which is the best way to connect the PC to LCD TV:
1)DVI to HDMI cable.
2)DVI to VGA(RGB) cable.
3)RGB to RGB cable.
I tried with S-Video but i was unable to get a proper resolution.

I have an LG plasma television the model is a 50PC1D. I have recently bought an LG HT552TH 500w HDMI DVD Home Cinema System. I have followed the instructions carefully and have managed to use my surround sound on dvds but it wont work with sky. Is there an input on my television which enables surround sound to work or is there a special cable or something that will make it work?? Any suggestions?
